ArmadaHealth has perfected the process of patient-physician matching with more than a decade of experience in clinical navigation.

A MEDICAL DIAGNOSIS CAN BE SCARY

You've been diagnosed, now what?

When you are facing a diagnosis that threatens your quality of life, it may feel overwhelming and confusing. You want the assurance that your physician has proven expertise with your condition and accepts your insurance. And, you aren’t sure exactly where to start.

SpecialtyCare Connect gives you much more than the names of physicians. We add value, a personal touch, by ensuring the optimal patient-physician match leveraging evidence-based data science and the expertise of our experienced healthcare team and Clinical Advisory Board.

we help you every step of the way

Clinical insight with a human touch.

Patient-physician matching is exponentially more effective and scalable with data science, but the process still requires human oversight.

We apply machine learning to our patient-physician matching algorithms. Then, we leverage our clinical human navigators’ expertise in selecting and matching physician profiles. Our navigators provide the heartbeat to our business and personalized advocacy whenever patients need it.

"Getting the right patient to the right doctor the first time is a critical aspect of healthcare today."

improving healthcare outcomes

How exactly do we define quality?

How many pancreaticoduodenectomies performed per year (and complication rate) are acceptable for us to recommend a surgeon for Pancreatic Cancer? What kind of specialist should we recommend for Gestational Diabetes?

To answer these questions, we use evidence-based medicine to define quality. Then we leverage voluminous amounts of data to determine qualifications or experience.

We leverage all published evidence-based guidelines along with the experience of internal and external subject matter experts, including our Clinical Advisory Board, to define and maintain definitions of quality & qualifications at the specialty, subspecialty and condition level, which we translate into ontologies and algorithms on our data science platform.
