MEDICAL DIRECTOR
Dr. Molly Thomas serves as ArmadaHealth’s Medical Director, a role to which she brings her expertise as a practicing pediatrician. While training in pediatrics at New York Medical College in Manhattan, she treated a diverse pediatric population, from the homeless and recent immigrants to the wealthy elite of lower Manhattan. Her broad patient demographic allowed her to use her second language, Spanish, and inspired her interest in genetic disease, chronic illness, and dermatological disorders in children.
Dr. Thomas is currently a pediatric physician in private clinical practice in New Jersey, where she treats patients from birth to their early twenties. She also has staff appointments at Hackensack University Medical Center, Holy Name Medical Center and Englewood Hospital in New Jersey.
Following graduation, Dr. Thomas began a pediatric residency at Saint Vincent’s Medical Center in Manhattan. She was also an integral member of the renowned St. Vincent’s Cystic Fibrosis Center, serving on their Charity Board. She also earned the John Z. Jacoby Award for Exemplary Care of Patients with CF. After residency, she was awarded the prestigious position of Chief Resident, a role in which she was responsible for resident education as well as overseeing medical management of the pediatric ward, pediatric emergency room and outpatient clinic at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan. From there, she was offered an attending position at the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center. She also designed and implemented a pediatric curriculum for the medical staff.
While earning her medical doctorate at The Chicago Medical School, she worked at the distinguished Cook County Hospital in both General Pediatrics and The Department of Child Abuse and Neglect. Dr. Thomas is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Thomas has years of experience working in the field of medical concierge services, identifying nationally-renowned specialists in every field and vetting them for referral to elite clients. An expert in patient informatics, she is able to bring her patients the most up-to-date and complete resources in health information to help them navigate their care after a new diagnosis.
